::There is one thing that especially make my mother's heart smile and this is when I see my dear children, now teenagers, laughing together, signing together, talking together, travelling together, taking walks together... I think homeschooling has been one of our greatest blessings as a family. I thank God with all my heart to have guide us towards that path. I thank Him to have given me enough faith to take that first step to start.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Good, significant memories don't just happen most of the time. They are created.
Making family memories is one of the thing we need to remember. It doesn't need to be expensive, it doesn't need to be something grand. Sometimes, the very simple things turns out to be very special when we put a little extra care in it. Some of our favorite memories... Where shall I work today dear Lord? And my love flow warm and free. He answered and said, See that little place? Tend that place for Me. I've found those words written in my diary this afternoon. I can't remember where I got them from but every time I read it, my heart gets warm. How blessed I am to have found this place in the world. A place where I know God wants me to be, a place where I feel safe and secure, a place I can call home. My dear husband is there, my sweet children are there, they need me and I need them. God want's me to take care of this place, he want's me to love and take care of them that are in that house. He wants me to be occupied with the things of the house and this is what I want to do with a happy heart. I have to confess that my heart is not always happy, I have to confess that sometimes, I complain and get selfish. Sometimes, it gets though, but deep down, I always know that when I feel that way, it's because my heart is not right with God. My heart looks at something else. I have come to learn that when I am content with what I have, my heart becomes lighter and it's much easier to accept my work with a happy heart. Every year, the first thing to come out of our garden is chive and Awwwh... how I am happy when I see the first signs of it!
I just love this season, and summer, and the sun, and the birds singing...
Winter can be very long here in this far away Canadian land.
Soon, there will be signs of Spring everywhere.
